Seems to be working great. Not sure why there is not the extra collar around it like the original spring but seems to work well

I love that they shipped it out within hours of ordering and it arrived for the weekend to try out. I love it. I brought my tools with me on my normal trail ride and made multiple adjustments to get it just right. I went from not being able to ride my bike because of low back pain to riding every day.
I replaced the stock spring with the heavy spring and it made a huge difference, take the time to set the correct preload.
I weigh 10 lb. over the limit for the spring, but I set it high, the spring is just right for me. It works great.
