SR SUNTOUR MOBIE CGO

Built for the Load. Engineered for the City.

When urban mobility demands more — more weight, more durability, more control — the MOBIE CGO delivers. Designed specifically for cargo bikes, heavy-duty e-bikes, and high-demand urban use, this fork combines rugged construction with refined suspension performance to keep you moving confidently through the city.

Strength You Can Rely On

A purpose-built high-strength chassis with 34mm stanchions and a forged crown provides the stiffness and durability needed to handle heavy loads and higher system weights. Tuned with increased spring hardness, the MOBIE CGO maintains support and stability even when fully loaded.

Smooth Control Under Pressure

With 80mm of travel and adjustable preload, the MOBIE CGO absorbs harsh impacts from potholes, curbs, and rough streets while keeping steering precise and predictable. Whether carrying cargo or commuting at speed, it delivers a controlled, comfortable ride.

Great fork but preloaded too tightly

I've installed this fork on my LvH Bullitt cargo bike (see attached viedo). Very happy to have front suspension! The fork seems sturdy and well built, one does have the feeling that it will be a durable piece of kit. However, I find it preloaded too tightly, I'll try to explain.

At the softest preload setting, and when I ride unloaded, it's not a magical experience. I can only feel the fork doing good work as I increase the carried load. In my case, this is when I load our 50-lb dog in the cargo box or if I increase the load even further.

In other words, I've never used the preload dials on the fork, and leave them at the minimum setting. To me this feels like Suntour has preloaded the springs a bit too tightly at the factory. If they were preloaded less, a ride on my unloaded bike would be more comfortable - and the preload dials would actually become useful, as my carried load increases.

I am still very happy to have front suspension. Thank you Suntour, and hope to see future improvements on this very good product. And please, please let me know if this is something I can fix on my own!

Very honest company

I received a Mobie34 fork that had been damaged by UPS (the box clearly had been thrown around by the carrier). Suntour sent me another fork right away within 2 days. I am incredibly impressed by the customer service!
