Does what it is supposed to do

it does a very good job for what it was designed and made for. To cover and conceal the flexin joint. I had a bit of concern of whether or not it would remain secure in its fastened position, but after several rides with which I tested the over all seat post, flex joint and cover by intentionally trying not to avoid the ruff areas of roadway as I had on previous rides. this is a very good item / accessory to have in addition to the seat post and flex joint for which I would recommend
