There are few options out there for a quality 24" fork, My Kids bike's factory fork started to get a lot of play so put this on. It is lighter and sturdier than the heavy spring fork that came on the bike. There seems to only be 2 name brand 24" forks out there and this is the less expensive option. The stiction is decent and it seems to hold pressure well. I debated buying one of the no names but just didn't trust them enough with my kid riding trails. Overall happy with the purchase.
